Magic team selection guidelines:

U16 team selection:
The top 15 ranked skaters will be identified by the High Performance evaluations. The top 5 skaters must be on the team as per the HP evaluations. The head coach will then pick the next 5 players from the remaining 10. This selection would include any Canada Winter Games exempt players or MRA identified injured players. Following the Wild player selections the head coach can then select the remainder of their roster as outlined by High Performance team selection criteria. (player must be in top 75%)

U19 team selection:
The top 15 ranked skaters will be identified by the High Performance evaluations. The top 5 skaters must be on the team as per the HP evaluations. The head coach will then pick the remainder of their roster from the remaining 10 as long as they meet the High Performance team selection criteria.(top 75%) This selection would include any MRA identified injured players.
